We have an opportunity for an Inventory Analyst.


Job Summary:

The Inventory Analyst is accountable to the Supply Chain Director at Septodont Cambridge.

The scope of this role includes monitoring and analyzing inventory levels, identifying trends, and making recommendations to optimize inventory management.

This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy and raw material availability to meet production demands.


Responsibilities:


  • Evaluates, quantifies, and distributes the inventory of resources to various locations and departments to promote the most efficient storage, organization, and use of materials.
  • Analyze inventory expiry health and flag near expiry/ retest items to the relevant teams for action.
  • Ensure optimal and accurate inventory movement and availability across storage sites.
  • Manage the release of materials process, maximizing inventory availability.
  • Trigger stock adjustments and replenishment flags based on nonconsumption inventory changes.
  • Identifies inventory losses, overages, and shortages by documenting and evaluating inventory reports and drawing conclusions to improve inventory systems.
  • Performs calculations and analyses to track and update inventory data and statistics.
  • Proactively identifies key risks to future supply chain needs and proposes and drives the necessary changes to address them.
  • Develops and drives operational excellence/continuous improvement.
  • Manage and run cycle counts and inventory obsolescence reports.
  • Liaises with and maintains effective relationships with operational departments.
  • Develops proactive measures to minimize low inventory issues and out of stock situations at the warehouse level.
  • Identifies and investigates inventory reduction opportunities.
  • Maintains and improves the company's inventory needs by analyzing statistics.
  • Prepares inventory reports and analysis as required.
  • Assists with inventory forecasting.
  • Assists with specific projects as requested for supply chain demands.
  • Observes and supports all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Follows GMP and regulatory requirements, and ensures quality standards are met.
  • Models the Company Missions, Vision and Values Statements, policies, and current standards business practices.
  • Performs other related duties and or special projects as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:


  • A postsecondary education in Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of inventory analysis experience
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory and logistics control within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Relevant experience using ERP systems, including all different inventory transactions.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to manage projects and multiple priorities with mínimal direction.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to work within interdepartmental teams.
  • Reliable and trustworthy and a selfstarter
  • Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills.
