    _ Department Supervisors__, we are recruiting for a _
    _General Labourer/Forklift Operator__, to work in our Packaging and Cellars departments, who will be responsible for delivering according to established cellar and production schedules in an efficient and costeffective manner._

_ What you offer:
_

- _ Grade 12 with previous experience working in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing environment _
- _Forklift experience and valid forklift certification is required_
- _ Self-motivated, organized, have good mechanical/mathematical skills, attention to detail, and technical aptitude_
- _ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals. _
- _Actively support and promote a culture focused on Health and Safety, environmental enhancement as well adhere to HACCP requirements and the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) _
- _Must be willing to work all shifts (day, afternoon, or night shift) and work under mínimal supervision. Some work may occur in cold, damp conditions, and sometimes at heights; capable of performing all duties with a sense of urgency and with a positive, team-oriented approach _
- _Able to lift to 50 lbs._
- _ A passion for working in a winery manufacturing facility and is interested in learning about wine_
- _ Ability to work evenings, weekends and holiday work required with increased frequency during harvest_


_ What you will be doing:_
- _ Loading & unloading trucks in a timely and safe manner_
- _ Loading & unloading product from production lines_
- _ Completing paperwork accurately and legibly_
- _ Maintains a clean working area removing debris, sweeping, cleaning, as required_
- _ Working with teammates to maximize line performance and quality_
- _ Working on various production lines, operating packaging equipment as needed (fillers, labelers, automated case packers) in the manufacturing facility_
- _ Completing quality testing to ensure products meet or exceed specifications_
- _ Following work tickets to accomplish specified wine making tasks_
- _ Ensure that packaging equipment and lines are prepared properly for daily production in a timely manner _
- _Moving pumps and hoses into place to pump product_
- _ Maintains a safe work environment._


This is a Unionized role and belongs to the SEIU Local 2 Branch Local 300 Union.

Hourly Rate:


$24.72 when working as a General Labour, with an increase to $29.66 when successfully designated, scheduled, and operating as Forklift Operator, as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
