Ottawa Biplane Adventures is looking for an enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Manager.

We have operated sightseeing flights in vintage aircraft for over 30 years, and we currently offer sightseeing flights from the Rockcliffe Flying Club and The Canada Aviation and Space Museum.

We have three aircraft:
two vintage Waco biplanes and one Cessna 172.

We strive to share our love of aviation with all of our passengers with a safe, fun experience on every flight.

Due to the nature of our operation winter months are often quieter than summer months, which can be fast paced in this complex environment.

We are looking for someone who can bring their passion and enthusiasm to the role of Manager. As the manager, you will be a vital part of our operations, and a leader in our dynamic team.


This role includes, but is not limited to:

• Overseeing Customer Service Representatives and Dispatchers, including scheduling and providing support
• End of Day cash reconciliation
• Processing payroll for all employees
• Aircraft Maintenance Technical records, including updating logbooks, creating work order packages, and maintaining accurate files
• Maintenance tracking
• End of month reconciliation and data entry into QuickBooks Online
• Overseeing training of Customer Service Representatives and Dispatchers
• Record keeping of all documents
• Communicating with suppliers and vendors
• Generating invoices
• Ensuring timely payment of all bills and invoices
• Assisting the owner with annual audits

Experience:

• English essential, Bilingual is an asset
• 2+ years in a customer service field
• 1+ year in a management role
• Experience with audits is an asset
• QuickBooks Online
• Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills a must
• Excellent customer service skills
• General knowledge of aviation is an asset
