    Hybrid Work Model

For team members situated within 50 kms/31 miles of our five global offices in Ottawa, Eldoret, Penang, Columbus, and Amsterdam, you can expect to come into the office one day a week.     Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to spearhead our AI/ML-driven product strategy in supply chain sustainability management. As the industry leader in this domain, providing our customers with actionable insights into their supply chain sustainability posture is pivotal. In this role, you will be at the forefront of identifying, developing, and implementing AI/ML solutions that not only drive business value and operational efficiency but also establish a competitive edge for our company in supply chain sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive product data strategy that is aligned with product development goals, organizational objectives, and our AI/ML aspirations.
    • Strategize and lead the implementation of AI/ML-driven initiatives within our supply chain sustainability products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Establish key performance metrics for data and insights deliverables, providing regular reports to senior management and product teams.
    • Forge and maintain cross-functional partnerships to uncover opportunities for leveraging AI/ML in enhancing supply chain sustainability, evaluating solution feasibility and impact.
    • Guide the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated AI/ML models and solutions, with a focus on optimizing for supply chain sustainability risk management.
    • Stay abreast of advancements in AI/ML and data science, advocating for the adoption of innovative technologies that can advance our sustainability initiatives.
    • Lead and nurture a team of AI/ML professionals, fostering an environment of growth, innovation, collaboration, and excellence in delivering impactful AI/ML projects.
    • Collaborate on data governance and ethical AI/ML standards, ensuring our AI/ML practices enhance our supply chain sustainability efforts responsibly and transparently.
    Qualifications
    • Advanced degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields. Recent experience emphasizing AI/ML applications is preferred.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in leading data and AI/ML strategy, with a proven portfolio of successful implementations in SaaS products, preferably within sustainability or supply chain domains.
    • Demonstrated leadership in managing technology teams, with a track record of mentoring and driving teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
    • Strong collaborative and influencing skills, capable of driving cross-functional initiatives and fostering partnerships to support AI/ML projects.
    • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities, coupled with the capacity to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Adaptability and agility in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, with a passion for innovation and sustainable practices.
