Job Details
Responsible for deployment, maintenance and support IT Systems and Networks in CAE a Systems Administration:

  • Builds and maintains the servers, plans and deliver on the IT infrastructure changes
  • Performs regular maintenance, monitoring and tuning of IT Systems
  • Conducts servers and systems repairs, upgrades, patches and installations
  • Collaborates with CAE Global IT staff, suppliers and contractors to troubleshoot issues
  • Analyses event logs and mitigates threats to IT environment
  • Ensure servers & computers' critical vulnerabilities are addressed within 48h Technical Support (2 & 3rd Level)
  • Provides the Tier 2 & 3 IT support for the staff across the organization.
May include ad-hoc out of hours' support due to 24/7 nature of the business (staff travel, emergencies etc.)

  • Repairs and recovers from major hardware or software failures
  • Provides experts advice to Helpdesk Admins and assists in troubleshooting major issues IT Projects delivery and support
  • Delivers internal IT Infrastructure projects and initiatives
  • Deploys entire systems at remote locations with tight constraints
  • Produces technical documentation and manuals
  • Cooperates with other project teams on technical matters
  • Researches and tests new solutions that may be advantageous to the business
  • Backups and Disaster Recovery
  • Implements and monitors backups, server replication and other key metrics daily
  • Manages large volumes of data (maintenance, backups, restores)
  • Updates and periodically tests the Disaster Recovery procedures

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Pay:
$45.00-$55.00 per year
