Description

The Lobby Restaurant and Lounge is located at the Pier Hotel at the Pier (North Vancouver) just steps away from Lonsdale Quay and the Seabus Terminal in North Vancouver Historic Shipyard.

Specific Duties and/or Job Responsibilities

Creates an exciting atmosphere in our establishment to encourage repeat business
Focuses on growing revenues and maximizing financial performances of the department
Monitors the performance of the restaurant and the quality against the competition
Possesses a keen eye for efficient, fast and caring service
Promotes the restaurant on the North Shore
Responsible for monthly bar inventory and organization
Create new cocktails as season change
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a Hotel/Restaurant or related profession
Must have a passion for delivering outstanding guest service
Knowledge of wines, spirits bar operations
Familiar with Micros POS computer terminals and Microsoft Office
Bartending experience as asset
Possesses a Food Safe and Serving it Right Certificate

**Fully vaccinated is required
