As a tutor and mentor with Scholars Education Centre Oakville, you will be responsible to provide superior individualized academic support to students.

Essential Job Functions

• Instruct students on an asneeded basis
• Students will bring their homework in centre. No prep time required to prepare a lesson plan
• Accurately provide reporting regarding student progress as required
• Attend training workshops as needed
• Complete administrative tasks when required
• Achieve Real Life Results for each student Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student's individual Goal Sheet our guideline and benchmark to providing individual success for each student we work with

Requirements:

• Ontario certified teacher and/or University degree in math, science or engineering
• Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring/mentoring to be provided
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work both as a part of a team and independently
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
• Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment
• Excellent organizational skills

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed
