Description
CBS Electric is looking to add a Project Management Assistant to our team. You will be involved in larger scale commercial/residential projects working closely with field techs and office staff.CBS is willing to train the right person that will bring a good attitude and looking to start their career in construction project management.
This is M-F position with 32-40 hrs a week. It is not a work from home opportunity at this point in time.Duties:
- Assist project managers in coordinating and organizing project activities
- Maintain project documentation and ensure it is up to date
- Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the project manager
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze data for project reporting
- Assist in preparing project close out documents and reports
- Coordinate meetings and take meeting minutes
- Support the project team in tracking action items and following up on deliverables
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Construction background an asset
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Note:
Experience in construction is a plus, willing to train the right person.
