Our Executive Leadership team is seeking a Vice President, Operations (internally called Head of Strategy & Operations) to join us here at Cinchy Reporting to the Head of Company Success (our CEO), this individual will own the execution and governance of Cinchy's Company Success Strategic Plan to drive our KPI results to plan.

This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with the Leadership Team to optimize our short and long term goals to align with the performance of our KPI's.

This role will also own the KPI machinery and the associated governance in Cinchy.

You have extensive tech industry and start-up experience, with a strong understanding of operations and strategy as they impact business operations, performance, and governance.

You also have the knowledge and skills to give you the ability to help us see around corners when it comes to future challenges and upcoming trends.

You should know:

The position is 100% remote

Travel to Toronto will be required for SLT Meetings in person (1-3 days per month)


What you will be doing:


  • Partner with the Head of Company Success & Executive team on setting strategic direction (including KPIs), inclusive of partnering to build out tactical plans to execute on our strategy. You will also be accountable to monitor and optimize business performance of KPIs.
  • This role is accountable to provide our SLT Team, Employees and our Board with a 360 view of our trending Company Success Strategic plan progress & KPI results at all times in Cinchy.
  • Leverage strategic insights and data to identify ways to grow Company Success outcomes in a sustainable manner.
  • Build and optimize scalable processes & governance in Cinchy to drive business growth
  • Partner with Finance on building commercial models, forecasts and identifying strategic growth & cost management opportunities that impact our KPIs to support retrospection and inform budget forecasting
  • Identify, own, manage, and deliver high impact strategic projects identify the highest pain points across Pillars and quickly partner to build solutions

  • This is a fast paced remote startup environment, i.e. Building the rocket as it's going up into space, and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to help us achieve our goals.

Compensation:

Our base salary range is at market with a 50% Annual Bonus fully tied to Company Success KPI Performance & Stock Options.


Key Results (things we will measure success):30 days: Learn all about Cinchy - vision, mission, product, current strategy, growth plans

60 days: Work alongside our SLT Team to update our Company Success Strategic Plan in Cinchy

90 days: Build out the scheduling cadence to govern our plan across Pillars, as well as you will take ownership of our KPI machinery in Cinchy


6 months & Beyond:

  • Measure KPI progress and success to help inform our fiscal 2024 planning (Timeline: August
  • October, 2023)
  • Lead company wide Annual Kick Off (Timeline: November, 2023)
  • Implement and build processes and strategies that will positively impact Company Success performance
