Steele VW has an immediate requirement for a Service Coordinator to join our team in Dartmouth

As Service Advisor, you are the dealership's front-line client relations and service representative.

Your reliable communication skills enable you to explain vehicle diagnosis and recommend necessary service work to prolong vehicle longevity based on your communication with the technicians.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Extends and completes P.D.I repair orders daily, maintaining P.D.I register of serial numbers and time
  • Service Valet, coordinating parking in the morning for customer parking lot, ensuring customers are aware of where vehicle is parked when returning for pick up.
  • Lot organization.
  • Help in the development of work orders.
  • Ascertaining automotive performance problems and services by using excellent communication skills
  • Notifies customers immediately upon receiving inspect and report results
  • Notifies customers of any delays or changes in delivery
  • Verifies all work orders and listed repairs are completed as requested and vehicle road test is completed prior to customer delivery
  • Works in conjunction with appointment coordinator
  • Ensures the appropriate sales are made, ensuring no under or overselling
  • Translate customerreported problems to technicians for providing proper service
  • Developing estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor
  • Calculating customer's payment, including deductibles

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in automotive service is considered an asset
years' experience in an administrative role

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer services skills, customer experience required
  • Strong interpersonal skill: a good listener who can cultivate relationships
  • Ability to work in a teamdriven environment
  • Computer proficiency
