Description
This position will involve:
- Sorting physical inbound mail and electronic mail from new and existing clients and performing EFILE functions
- Filing and scanning forms that give us access to an individual's tax returns
- Performing tax estimates based on individuals and their supporting family members to evaluate suitability to move forward with claim
- Filing paper and online tax adjustments in order to produce refunds on clients' tax returns
- Communicating with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Quebec (RQ) by phone, fax and mail in order to advance a clients' file and respond to outstanding requests
- Communicating with clients and supporting family members when necessary to obtain information to advance their claims
- Submitting disability forms (T2201) and related documents to Canada Revenue Agency and Revenu Quebec by mail, fax or secure upload system
- Reviewing work completed by other team members including other members of the tax team
- Coordinating with Client Service Specialists to ensure that clients are informed on case progress
