Job Information
Help the purchasing team with ordering from suppliers.
Track deliveries and make sure received products match the orders.
Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Keep supplier databases and order tracking files updated.
Analyze costs and market trends to find opportunities to save money.
Assist with managing inventory and optimizing stock levels.
Job Requirements
Education
- Advanced degree in management, logistics, commerce, or a related field.
Experience
- Prior experience in an administrative support role, preferably in purchasing or the catering industry.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Proficiency in IT tools, especially Excel and purchasing management software.
Knowledge
- Familiarity with the catering industry would be beneficial.
