Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or holes.
• Mix paint to achieve desired color and consistency.
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools.
• Protect surfaces from paint drips or spills using drop cloths, tape, or other methods.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters or architects to ensure project specifications are met.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries and accidents.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a painter with at least 2 years of experience in residential or commercial painting.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Familiarity with safety guidelines and protocols for painting.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in painting or related field.
• Knowledge of different paint types and their properties.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
• Experience working on largescale commercial or industrial projects.
• Experience with specialty painting techniques such as faux finishing or mural painting.

Physical Demands:

The painter must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods of time.

The job may require bending, stooping, and reaching. The painter must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and environments.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 35 per week


Salary:
$23.00-$25.00 per hour


Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
