- Promotion of Meals on Wheels and Transportation programs
- Coordinate the Hot Meals program including packing/unpacking/cleaning of the hot meals bags.
- Support the Frozen Meals on Wheels program as needed.
- Manage referrals/intakes and coordinate and schedule services for clients, and volunteers.
- Contribute to customer service excellence, continuous quality improvement and risk management.
- Recognized training equivalent to college diploma.
- Three years of direct customer service experience with seniors or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Comfortable speaking with/presenting to groups.
- Out-going personality
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle conflict effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and data base applications (GOLDCARE).

- Valid driver's license and vehicle required.
- Fluency in both official languages (English or French) or other languages, an asset.

Description
The Role
Reporting to the Client Services Manager- Meals on Wheels & Transportation Program, you willeffectively expand client base for the Meals on Wheels (MOW) and Transportation programs. Responsible for the coordination of the Hot Meals on Wheels program.
This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, 8:30am - 4:30pm - Monday to Friday with occasional work outside of business hours. Hybrid position with 4 days per week in office and some travel required.
