Ruth and Naomi's (RAN) is a Christian faith-based organization with a vision and commitment to see the lives of people experiencing homelessness, poverty, and struggling with addiction transformed by the love of God.

To assist in this work, we are seeking part-time Volunteer Liaisons to work in our Pathways kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Warmly greet volunteers as they arrive and provide a brief overview of the meal plan for those assisting with cooking
Assist with meal preparation as needed
Provide training and orientation for volunteers new to our kitchen
Prepare and give a short devotional and prayer at the beginning of each meal
Oversee food service, providing direction and assistance to those distributing the meals
Engage with clients, facilitating a experience that is nourishing on multiple levels
Prepare evening snack for distribution
Support volunteer coordination as needed, with direction from the Community Engagement Coordinator
Assist with kitchen clean up
Other responsibilities as assigned.
