Quality Assurance Manager RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Helijet International Inc. is accepting resumes for the full-time position of Quality Assurance Manager, (QAM). Qualifications:


  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid M1 and/or M2 Transport Canada AME license for a minimum of 6 years.
  • Must have current, formal QA training and experience
  • Preference given to those that hold or have held Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on Sikorsky S76 series, Airbus H125/AS350 B2/B3, Pilatus PC12, Bombardier Lear 3
  • Previous experience in an EMS environment, multiengine IFR aircraft, or Airline would be considered an asset for this position.
Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements

  • The Quality Assurance Manager, QAM, is responsible to the Director of Maintenance, and maintains a line of communication to the Accountable Executive
  • Performs audits on the Helijet maintenance control system, in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and the Helijet MPM and MCM
  • Perform Quality Assurance evaluations and audits in accordance with the Helijet Company Operations Manual
  • Maintain a system for ensuring that all relevant, current maintenance publications and technical data is available to the Chief Engineer
  • Act as liaison between Helijet and TCCA
  • Meet the requirements of CAR PRM alternate)
  • Ability to make sound and safe decisions, while following documented policies and procedures
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and oral
  • Proficient using Excel, Word, and Adobe
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong troubleshooting, and time management skills
  • Commitment to teamwork and working in a safetyoriented atmosphere
  • Organized selfstarter with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent ability to multitask and handle changing priorities
  • Strong Mentorship skills and positive attitude are valuable assets in this role
  • Must provide proof of receiving at least two Covid19 vaccinations. Helijet strictly adheres to all Federal and Provincial Covid19 guidelines.
  • Ability to gain a YVR RAIC for ramp access
  • Travel to subbases required periodically to perform inspections and audits. This may require same day or overnight travel as required.

Salary:
$125,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
