Job Description:


Specific Skills:

  • Excellent time management skills such as tracking details and meeting aggressive deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
  • Advanced Excel skills to manage huge data for analysis and presentations (including Power Query, lookups, and pivot tables)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented and able to work independently and/or as part of a team in a highperformance culture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Selfmotivated and curious to learn new concepts and participate in new projects

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Financial cycle income statement, balance sheet and solid foundation with general accounting standards/IFRS
  • Demonstrated understanding of the link between analysis and business impact; ability to identify and integrate drivers for financial modeling.
  • BPC superuser, deep knowledge of GFDM, BPC and AFO, maintain a solid understanding of systems to support analysis and reporting.

Accountability:

  • Review financial operating results to identify key trends, variances, opportunities for continuous improvement, and measure financial results against budget and forecasts,, including provide commentaries on variances.
  • Support business with the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecast and analyzes actual and budgeted figures on an ongoing basis.
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc analyses of business performance to assist in decision making.
  • Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure that strategic initiatives are achieved.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work process. A significant focus is placed on continuous innovation, utilizing analytical tools to provide data driven insights. Drive automation.
  • Support the business in gathering data and insights to facilitate the evaluation of business cases, provide financial and accounting expertise in the valuation of business cases.
  • Protect and maintain confidential and sensitive written and oral information.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Accounting/Finance
  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent finance/accounting designation
  • At least 23 years of experience in an analytical role in Finance or Accounting
  • Relevant experience with financial analysis, financial modelling, profitability analysis, forecasting and budgeting, strategic planning
