COUNTER SALES ASSOCIATE

The Counter Sales Representative is an integral function in the branch's ability to provide excellent customer service to all of Bartle's new and existing clientele base.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Offering exceptional customer service at our counter and over the phone
Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
Processing orders in the system
Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
Consistent training and understanding of current products
Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
Handling returns as required
Keeping counter and sales area clean
Merchandising and showcasing product

Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to develop longterm relationships and generate referrals from your customers
Excellent communication skills
Impeccable organizational skills with high attention to detail
Time management & multitasking skills to serve several customers at the same time
Strong networking skills, outgoing personality
Selfmotivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team
Proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fastpaced work environment

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Minimum grade 12 education
Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing, Electrical or Heating are considered an asset
Knowledge of the Plumbing, Electrical and Heating industry or a background in plumbing products
required
