POSITION:
Executive Assistant to Vice President Quality, Patient Experience & Planning


HOURS OF WORK:
Monday to Friday - Days (some flexibility re: schedule)


JOB SUMMARY:


Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate 3year University Degree preferred, Community College Secretarial Diploma required or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 to 5 years of senior administrative experience
  • Exemplary skills in documentation of meeting minutes/proceedings
  • Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide support to the VP's daily operations while displaying a highlevel of autonomy, responsibility, professionalism and judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills communicating effectively and professionally
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to foster good working relationships with board committee members, leadership team, internal and external partners
  • Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in designing and maintaining filing systems (including both electronic and paper files).
  • Exemplary planning and time management skills with demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fastpaced executive office
  • Accountable and responsible; selfdirected, able to see tasks through to completion and take ownership of outcomes
  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to use tact, discretion and maintain information in the strictest confidence
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of MS Access and Visio would be considered an asset Knowledge of various office equipment and technology supports (photocopier video conferencing solutions, etc.)
