Job summary
We are seeking a Health & Safety Training Coordinator to support the delivery of health and safety training across our construction projects. The successful candidate will deliver standardized health and safety training using approved materials while maintaining accurate training records.Responsibilities
- Deliver standardized health & safety training orientations refresher sessions
- Maintain accurate training records manage SMS software track compliance audit readiness assist Health & Safety leadership with reporting administrative tasks alternatively coordinate onboarding orientation for employees subcontractors visitors schedule internal external safety training WHMIS working at heights first aid track completion certifications expiry dates follow up workers subcontractors ensure compliance prior site access maintain accurate updated health & safety records files collect organize archive certificates sign-in sheets orientation reports document control procedures forms templates prepare compliance reports audits inspections client reporting administer tracking systems spreadsheets Learning Management Systems LMS generate compliance reports gaps upcoming expiries support ISO COR client audit preparation compiling evidence act primary resource users system navigation data entry reporting requirements rollout new features modules process updates user guides quick-reference materials aids demonstrate system competence controlled processes assist Health & Safety leadership tasks communicate clear professional written verbal communication effectively coordinate teams subcontractors external providers train non-compliance diplomatically escalate issues accordingly understanding environments importance recordkeeping present train various stakeholders clear role boundaries willingness technical regulatory questions escalate Health & Safety leadership defined procedures governance structures reliable accountable consistent applying approved processes detail-oriented calm under pressure comfort independently larger team adaptable open continuous improvement valid Class G driver's licence travel sites
