Crozier is looking for a
Proposal Writer to join our Proposal team. If you are an experienced writer that loves to create concise and persuasive proposals and is looking for an opportunity to continue to grow, we'd love to hear from you

In this role you will follow the proposal development process and provide expertise to complete a proposal document that is properly branded and addresses the unique requirements of the client with a storytelling approach.

How you will contribute to the team:

Conduct analysis of the proposal request to understand client requirements.
Prepare and communicate workback schedules in consideration of meeting internal and external deliverables.
Research and gather relevant information to develop comprehensive proposals.
Write clear, concise, and persuasive content for proposals, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with guidelines and proposal strategy.
Edit and proofread proposals for grammar, style, formatting, and compliance with brand guidelines and single voice submission.
Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and prioritizing workload effectively.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in proposal writing, and continuously improve proposal development processes.
Recommend illustrative elements (if/when required) to support the story.
Format proposals for final submission.
Track opportunities for proposal content development.
Lead the development of our content library.
Write CV's and Project Write Ups when required.
Provide support in the development of new proposal tools (for example templates, technology, and process implementation).
Liaise with marketing to ensure all proposal documentation aligns with corporate branding.

What you bring:

Postsecondary education in Journalism, Communications, English or combination of education and experience.
Related experience in writing and developing persuasive proposals.
Experience in the engineering consulting industry considered an asset, but not required.
Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with proficiency to adapt content to different target audiences.
Exceptional attention to detail and quick ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Analytical, logical thinker (for proposal/opportunity assessments).
Understanding of proposal development process and sales.
Proficiency working in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically with InDesign.
