The OpportunityDartmouth NS Aviation Experienced Permanent
As a member of the School of Trades and Transportation faculty team you will Coordinate aviation hangar and lab operations by setting up/taking down and maintaining the organization of the hangar and labs and its materials equipment and inventory With faculty or independently you will support preparation instruction assessment evaluation of students using a broad range of flexible teaching learning practices in the lab hangar classroom Collaboratively design deliver educational experiences for a diverse group of learners Ensure health safety practices procedures followed in your classroom shops labs May provide theoretical practical instruction in Aircraft Maintenance Technology Technician programs Related duties include but not limited to academic career advisement participating committees program marketing curriculum revision development through collaborative practice within faculty working groups supporting monitoring work placements liaising business industry representing College required upholding NSCC policies procedures Other related duties will include monitoring replenishing organizing hangar lab supplies equipment assisting with orientation when required Maintain currency latest industry practices relevant program continually develop understanding 21st century teaching learning practices This position may involve different delivery modalities e.g., in class online blended online/in class off site instruction alternate work hours weekends evenings What you ll need Qualifications The minimum educational qualification this position valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License M1 M2 equivalent You have minimum five years full time equivalent recent related occupational experience fixed rotary wing aircraft maintenance repair NOTE Two years training counted towards educational requirements cannot included part occupational experience Have clear understanding Manufacturer s Regulatory Documentation CARS including SRM Service Bulletins Engineering Drawings etc Have extensive knowledge skilled use tools trade processes assigned Hands on experience rotary fixed wing AME considered strong asset Familiar comfortable computer applications Microsoft Office Suite email Comfortable working digital environment take responsibility acquiring knowledge advancing technology committed using technology exceptional student experience multi media technologies platforms engaging students online blended learning Occupational experience providing performance feedback considered asset Demonstrated liasing business industry field Ideally related exp delivery education programs adults Knowledge WHMIS Occupational Health Safety occupation specific safety practive Commitment equity diversity inclusion accessibility anti racism Demonstrate commitment excellence life long learning community involvement ideal candidate Faculty at NSCC A Little Bit About Us Nova Scotia Community College We value Diversity Inclusion The College values diversity inclusion committed employment equity Encourage applications from all qualified candidates Mi kmaq Aboriginal Indigenous Persons Black African Nova Scotians racially visible communities persons disabilities minority sexual orientation gender identity expression women Applicants these communities wishing self identify complete online questionnaire application ,valid_job:1} }'s json format does not allow comments so I'll just skip those lines now let's reformat them if needed (they should be removed) - they are also restricting me right now lets skip them then remove line breaks afterwards here is an update without extra text outside JSON keys must be lowercase with underscores instead spaces:
