Description

Responsibilities:

  • Actively search, Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • Mentor and performance manage the Purchasing and inventory Coordinator.
  • Ensure proper inventory is ordered on time, received and available for production.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to determine procurement needs.
  • Responsible for recruiting, training and managing their team.
  • Collaborating directly with accounting and menu development teams.

Skills:


  • Procurement certificate is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively buy and procure goods and services
  • Experience in vendor management and sourcing
  • Minimum of 7 years of direct supervisory in large or small scale food production facility.
  • Solid knowledge of SIX SIGMA Manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Ability to fabricate effective solutions to procurement challenges

Job Types:

Salary:
$75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
