Responsibilities:
- Actively search, Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Mentor and performance manage the Purchasing and inventory Coordinator.
- Ensure proper inventory is ordered on time, received and available for production.
- Collaborate with internal departments to determine procurement needs.
- Responsible for recruiting, training and managing their team.
- Collaborating directly with accounting and menu development teams.
Skills:
- Procurement certificate is preferred.
- Ability to effectively buy and procure goods and services
- Experience in vendor management and sourcing
- Minimum of 7 years of direct supervisory in large or small scale food production facility.
- Solid knowledge of SIX SIGMA Manufacturing principles.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Ability to fabricate effective solutions to procurement challenges

$75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
