Position Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator will report directly to the Yard Supervisor. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day administration for the yard. To be successful in this position you should be detail-oriented, professional and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work Schedule:
This position is a salaried role, Monday to Friday.
Duties:
- With support from operations manager, organize and schedule all incoming customer orders
- Organize and plan all outgoing customer orders to location and pipe yards
- Work with manufacturing daily on current work orders or any changes
- Supply customer inventory weekly, monthly, as needed or when specifically requested
- Provide administrative support with training and updates;
- Data entry of customer inventory daily
- With support from Operations Manager, prepare reporting for the management team
Provide after hours and weekend communication support via mobile; on call availability required

- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with all levels of internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; experience analyzing and reviewing data in Excel required.
- Experience in ERP systems (business central) an asset.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing or machining environment a strong asset
- Previous manufacturing experience logistics a strong asset
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- High school diploma along with relevant postsecondary education.
- Highly motivated and selfdirected, capable of multitasking, accountable, and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Dedicated to continuous improvement
