Youth and Education Program Supervisor

Our mission is to provide safe and supportive places where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life.

Responsibilities:

Identify, create and manage delivering programs that support underrepresented groups,
Develop programming geared to newcomer adults and youth,
Recruit, supervise, actively mentor and train staff and volunteers,
Encourage and promote lifelong learning and healthy lifestyles,
Actively recruit and engage members,
Support program delivery when needed,
Develop relationships with community partners,
Manage program budgets,
Maintain professional relationships with, peers, members, volunteers.
A commitment to the Club's mission, vision and values
A university or college degree in recreation, child and youth work, education or a related field
Extensive knowledge and experience in youth program implementation and supervision
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role
Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to contribute to the creation of positive team and workplace dynamic
Demonstrated empathy, approachability and an understanding of others
Successful experience working with a diverse population
Well organized and able to streamline, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Effectively
Availably to work afternoons, evenings and some weekends
