Description
Securities Lending Officer - Transaction Processing (MS Excel) On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Securities Lending Officer - Transaction Processing (MS Excel).
Securities Lending, Market & Asset Servicing - Implementing a new security lending platform over the next 12 months (testing, scenario building, script creation)
Require resource to assist with back-office work
Responsible for working with a dynamic team processing transactions within Securities Lending Operations team
Close coordination is required with Front Trading Desks and other internal & external stakeholders
Other responsibilities include collection of borrower lending fees, client revenue processing and reconciliation across all platforms and systems
Additionally, this desk will be required to support the STIF desk and the Bank of Canada Triparty program
Perform asset valuations on loan and collateral positions to ensure bank and its clients are protected
Manage the policy adherence and risk monitoring functions
Monitor all system records for collateral transactions to ensure integrity of balances
Maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate actions related to Securities Lending operations
Manage relationship with counterparties, internal trading desks and Securities Lending teams
Securities Lending Officer - Transaction Processing (MS Excel) - Mandatory Skills
University or post-graduate degree
Securities Lending experience
Professional knowledge of financial instruments, capital markets and operations
Strong MS Office knowledge Process and time management skills
Advanced usage of MS Office Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot, macro)
Demonstrated strategic team player with the ability to grow and motivate others
The ability to adhere to high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work under pressure, managing time and priorities efficiently without supervision

VBA coding and macro development is an asset
