Responsibilities

  • Support ECO Canada's Indigenous (BEAHR) training program.
  • Perform technical and administrative duties in the execution of program activities.
  • Research, write, edit, format, and proofread technical documents for reports, proposals, and concept papers.
  • Coordinate ongoing projects and BEAHR courses within scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring highquality standards on project deliverables.
  • Manage and maintain stakeholder relationships with Indigenous Communities, businesses, academic programs, BEAHR participants
  • Facilitate logístical planning and support for training, events, and promotional activities.
  • Develop and update templates, procedural documents, and clientfacing reports.
  • Other program and project management/support, including networking and delivering presentations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient computer skills and experience with MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in technical writing, such as reports, proposals, etc.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple competing tasks and priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Up to date with the latest Indigenous, environment, and sustainability topics.
  • Fluency in French is not required but is considered an asset.

Education and Experience

  • Graduate of a Post-Secondary Environmental Science/Studies, Economics, Indigenous Relations, Arts program, or similar.
  • Experience working with Indigenous Peoples, including Indigenous programming and community engagement.
  • Experience planning and executing events, training, and/or workshops (both inperson and virtual).
  • Project management experience is considered an asset.
This is a
full-time position, with a 90-day probationary period upon the start date.


ECO Canada offers the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 3 days per week at the Calgary office and the option to work remotely for the remaining 2 days).
