Description

We are currently recruiting an energetic, results-focused post-secondary student to join our team This position offers an opportunity to gain experience and to learn more about our Accounts Payable team, the Company, and the industry.

As an
Accounts Payable Student, you will be a key player in building and maintaining relationships between our vendors and various departments within Bison.

Specific responsibilities include:

Processing invoices for payment,
Creating cheque and EFT payment batches,
Reconciling vendor statements and taking vendor inquiries,
Reconciling credit card transactions and outofpocket expense reports,
Currently enrolled in a postsecondary education with a focus on any combination of Supply Chain, Finance,, Management or Business Administration with a
graduation date past 2024.
Detail oriented with a passion for working with numbers and data entry.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility to meet changing work needs and demands.
Ability to work independently and work effectively as a team player.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to thrive in a multitasking, deadline oriented, high volume, and fastpaced environment.

PC skills

Windows, MS Office Suite, Excel, Great Plains accounting software
