Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Work with iPSC lines and establish key readouts of diverse brain cell types.
Provide laboratory leadership with neuronal iPSC technology projects.
Initiate and design key cellular assays that replicate human neurological disease(s) using differentiated neuron, astrocyte, and oligodendrocyte cells.
Analyze and interpret data to develop new hypotheses.
Monitor and evaluate completion of tasks and drive projects to decision points.
Proactively investigate new or different technologies to improve the efficiency of the cellular differentiation process.
Interpret and present data to scientific stakeholders.
Assist in managing the daytoday activities of the laboratory, including the maintenance and good operation of equipment.

Experience and Qualifications:

PhD in Molecular Biology with significant handson experience in primary cell culture.
Significant experience in culturing and differentiating iPSCs.
Expertise with direct reprogramming of various cell types including patient derived cells.
12 years post graduate work in cell/molecular biology within an industry environment.
Hands on experience developing cellbased biological assays using techniques such as BRET/FRET, luminescence, Immunopull down, Incucyte, and droplet digital PCR.
Ability to work on more than one project at a time.
Technical proficiency, scientific creativity, independent thought, and ability to effectively collaborate with others with multiple scientific disciplines.

Position Base Salary Range:
$74,300 -$111,400

The base salary is just one part of the total rewards package at adMare.
