Position Summary:

CSN Sarkis Collision is seeking a skilled Remove and Install Auto Technician to join our team.

The Remove and Install Auto Technician will be responsible for efficiently and effectively tearing down and reassembling vehicles as required, as well as inspecting parts for installation.

This role requires an individual with the ability to read estimates and use the tools required for vehicle teardown and reassembly purposes.

The Remove and Install Auto Technician will report to the shop Foreman. Below is a list of all the key roles and responsibilities we are seeking in our newest team member.

However, we are willing to hire an individual who is willing to work hard, learn rapidly and who is wanting to start a career in the automotive industry.


Primary Responsibilities of the Remove and Install Auto Technician:
Tear down vehicles efficiently and effectively, following established procedures and guidelines.

Reassemble vehicles accurately, ensuring proper installation of components and parts as per manufacture specifications.

Inspect parts for installation, checking for any damage, defects, or missing components.

Utilize appropriate tools and equipment provided by the shop to complete teardown and reassembly tasks.

Read and understand estimates to determine the details in the work and required parts.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of vehicle teardown and reassembly.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly handled and stored.

Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the auto repair industry.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

Experience working as a Remove and Install Auto Technician or similar work experience. (Considered an asset but not a requirement)

Experience with Mitchell Connect and Audatex or any other online repair software. (Considered an asset but not a requirement)

Ability to read estimates and understand the details of the work load.

Proficiency in using tools required for vehicle teardown and reassembly purposes. (Tools and equipment all provided by shop)

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Knowledgeable and be up to date in various Insurance "DRP" practices/guidelines. (Considered an asset but not a requirement)
