Description

Vestshell is a steel foundry firmly established in Montreal since 1964. We are recognized as a high-quality parts manufacturer serving the aerospace, medical, defence, nuclear and some industrial sectors. Our world-class clientele is primarily located in the United States, Canada and Europe.

We are looking for an electromechanic to complete our maintenance team.

The shift is permanent, 40 hours a week with a schedule from 6am to 2:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair/change electrical motors, switchgear, programable logic controllers (PLC) and other electromechanical equipment;related to the plant's production.
Good knowledge in hydraulics,pneumatics lines and systems.
Participate in new projects development, modifications and reorganization of work cells;
Be able to participate in plant building maintenance and repairs.
Be able to install, connect and power electromechanical equipment or systems,
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, electromechanical and automated equipment.
Ability to diagnose and repair quickly in the event of breakage and breakdown.
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electromechanical drawings.
Assume any other related responsibilities that may be assigned to him in the performance of his duties;
Good dexterity, attention to details.
Be proactive, team player.

What it takes:

Electromechanical PED;
Experience in a similar position;
Verbal and written French and/or English communication skills;
Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic knowledge of programmable controllers (an asset)
