Job Description

The Accessibility Advisor provides relevant academic accommodation information related to self-identified students with disabilities and/or medical conditions attending NWP. The Accessibility Advisor assists students in overcoming academic barriers created by their condition(s) while continuing to maintain NWP's academic standards

The Accessibility Advisor is responsible for determining, approving, and arranging for appropriate academic accommodations, providing ongoing academic support, and supporting and educating students, staff, and faculty throughout the accommodations process.

The incumbent will also identify, develop, and manage opportunities to promote the Polytechnic, contribute to recruitment and retention. Other responsibilities include support to other department functions.
