Job summary

This position is responsible for providing guidance and support in all areas of water treatment operations at the Fort Chipewyan Water Treatment Plant.

Responsibilities

• Employee Development: Performs supervisory tasks for assigned team members.
• Research and Implementation: Participates in continuous research development improvement implementation effective departmental strategies tools guidelines based on Municipality best practices.
• Operational Guidance Maintains communication with external agencies involved in water treatment operations prepares reports submission Federal Provincial regulatory agencies Health Centers First Nations Identifies recommends changes communication strategies affecting water treatment Ensures service levels professional working environment written procedures Administers resources within limits determined Manager Water Treatment Procures services consumables required by operations Sets tone operational unit Interacts supports maintenance team Ensures plants operated maintained according relevant legislation standards guarantees compliance environmental public safety requirements.
