Levitt-Safety has exciting opportunities for experienced Field Service Technicians to join our Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems team in Sudbury, ON.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspecting, repairing, and providing maintenance of vehicle fire suppression systems and other types of Fire & Life Safety Equipment at various customer sites
- Conducting life safety inspections and audits, with valueadd suggestions for followup and maintenance
- Performing sitespecific training for owners and endusers
- Being the Face of Levitt-Safety for our customers and their onsite safety needs

Qualifications:
- Experience, education, or training & working with fire protection and/or suppression systems is a strong asset
- Mechanically inclined and eager to learn and build a career in a handson technician role in the service industry
- Experience working in a mechanical shop or equivalent handson role with vehicles or other motorized equipment is a strong asset, but not a requirement for an eager individual who wants to learn
- Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude with experience working with power and hand tools
- A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to work with technology and mobile devices
This physically demanding and safety-sensitive role involves various types of equipment and work environments.
As such the following are core requirements for this role:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted, coupled with good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physically able to work in restricted or confined workspaces, including using ladders and walkways on large equipment
- Able to pass preemployment and periodic drug and alcohol testing as well as criminal background checks
