North Central Animal Hospital in Edmonton, AB is welcoming a full-time
Client Care Specialist to work a mix of morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts. If you excel at customer service, have a passion for client care, and a love for animals, we are excited to welcome you to our team

What is your role

The role of the Client Care Specialist (CCS) is to strengthen the client, animal, veterinary bond through exceptional client service and education.

Your role is vital to the success of our hospital You are the first point of contact and have the ability to leave a lasting impression building trust and loyalty with our clients.

Your responsibility is to enhance the client's experience by coordinating between the clients and members of the medical team. Your primary goal is to ensure the clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for and appreciated.

Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patient and pet parents
Ability to answer a multiline phone system and track and book appointments effectively
Placing outbound calls to pet parents for followup and future appointment bookings
Admitting and discharging pet patients
Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation and processing payments
Scheduling appointments
Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting people at ease and creating a welcoming environment
General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas and common areas
Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
Previous customer service or front desk experience in hospitality or retail is an asset
No experience with animals, no problem, so long as you love pets
