A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE:

Provides Information Technology Desktop services support, including:

Provides first-level problem resolution for all computer hardware, software, telephones and network issues.
Install, configure and maintain all PC based computer hardware, software, peripherals in the office and on the production floor.
Provide accurate and timely logging of problems and resolutions in the Help Desk Tracking database. Maintains inventory of computers, printers and peripherals. Order computers and related equipment.
Evaluate and assess the hardware/software need in the organization and recommend areas of improvements to the IT Infrastructure Manager.
Provide rotational after normal business hours support for all PC based computer hardware, software and network problems for internal and external users.
Other duties of a minor nature related to the above which do not affect the value of the job.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:

Diploma of Computer Science or equivalent is required.
Comp TIA A+ and/or Comp TIA Network+ certification is required
23 years of working experience at installing/configuring PC based hardware and software.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and 0365 preferred
Personal Work Ethic. Attention to Detail. Maintain a high level of customer service. Detail oriented.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment would be an asset.
