  • The Advisor, Medical Staff Contracts & Negotiations supports the Medical Affairs portfolios and provides expert advice, guidance and education on a variety of Medical Staff contracts through the understanding and knowledge of Ministry of Health, Health Authority and Medical staff contract negotiations processes and systems and provides a link between the operational contract processes and the strategic negotiation processes of the Medical Affairs department. The Advisor liaises with NH Medical Affairs leadership, Physician Compensation, operational leaders,and external organizations to exchange information, influence and support consistent contract management practices.
  • The Advisor, Medical Staff Contracts & Negotiations is responsible for comprehensive contract management services and administration of all medical staff contracts within the assigned clinical service portfolio/areas. The Coordinator supports contract performance, organizational decision
- making and organizational performance improvement through analysis, monitoring and reporting of system performance


Shift Rotation/Hours of work:

Starting salary will be approximately from $67,864 to $84,830 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
Prince George has a population of 89, local residents and is a service centre for approximately 320,000.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a related discipline such as Health Care or Business Administration plus five (5) years related experience in an administrative position within healthcare affairs, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
