Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is actively recruiting
Environmental Services Workers to join the team in Saint John.
As an Environmental Services Worker at Horizon, you are responsible for the following duties:
- Washing, disinfecting, dry and wet mopping floors, and cleaning carpets
- Stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing floors
- Cleaning patient rooms, common areas, and clinical areas
- Performing major housecleaning duties
- Disinfecting and cleaning isolation and other specialty rooms using isolation procedures
- Disposing of garbage, recyclables, biomedical and toxic waste
- Collecting soiled linens and folding and distributing clean linens
- Disassembling, transporting, and assembling furniture

Who you are
You possess a high school diploma or equivalent. You have written and spoken competence in English. You have experience in stripping and waxing floors.
