Roles & Responsibilities

  • Comply with company safety policies.
  • Troubleshoot major and minor issues related to heavy equipment and heavy truck and trailers.
  • Diagnose & determine the nature and extent of repairs.
  • Perform preventative & corrective maintenance of all systems (mechanical, electrical & hydraulic).
  • Schedule work & coordinate with Shop Lead & other teammates.

Qualification Requirements

  • Have a journeyman's certificate as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic/Technician.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work with others in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change

Preferred Skill:


  • Welding experience considered an asset.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment considered an asset.
