Under the direction of the Director of Care, and working within the mission, vision and values of Wing Kei, the Administrative Coordinator - Care is a member of the Administrative team assisting in developing, maintaining, planning, directing and administering assigned projects in accordance with Wing Kei's policies and standards.

THE ROLE

Key Accountabilities

  • Demonstrate, promote and advocate the Wing Kei vision, mission and core values
  • Provides administrative support to the Director of Care and maintains administrative workflow.
  • Creates and organizes various documents and electronic information.
  • Manages, organizes and updates relevant data and policies.
  • Maintains and manages the PolicyTech database as required. This includes making amendments, creating templates for review, and communicating with leadership to ensure policies are uptodate, approved, and accessible.
  • Supports the Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI) team with documentation, providing data, and consolidating information from reports and action plans.
  • Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of residents, staff and Wing Kei information.
  • Researches and investigates information to enable strategic decisionmaking by others.
  • Creates and organizes various documents and electronic information.
  • Manages, organizes and updates relevant data.
  • Works closely with the multidisciplinary team and provides support if needed.
  • Communicates and provides information internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service to connecting groups.
  • Interprets instructions and issues arising, and then implements actions according to administrative policies and procedures.

THE INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL SUCCEED

  • Has completed a Business Administration Certification or equivalent.
  • Prior proven experience in an administrative position.
  • Good time management skills; selfstarter, adaptable, and flexible.
  • Ability to deal proactively with change; creative and innovative.
  • Knowledge of government legislations and relevant procedures regarding health care a definite asset.
  • Computer literacy is required.
