Under the direction of the Director of Care, and working within the mission, vision and values of Wing Kei, the Administrative Coordinator - Care is a member of the Administrative team assisting in developing, maintaining, planning, directing and administering assigned projects in accordance with Wing Kei's policies and standards.

THE ROLE
Key Accountabilities
- Demonstrate, promote and advocate the Wing Kei vision, mission and core values
- Provides administrative support to the Director of Care and maintains administrative workflow.
- Creates and organizes various documents and electronic information.
- Manages, organizes and updates relevant data and policies.
- Maintains and manages the PolicyTech database as required. This includes making amendments, creating templates for review, and communicating with leadership to ensure policies are uptodate, approved, and accessible.
- Supports the Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI) team with documentation, providing data, and consolidating information from reports and action plans.
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of residents, staff and Wing Kei information.
- Researches and investigates information to enable strategic decisionmaking by others.
- Creates and organizes various documents and electronic information.
- Manages, organizes and updates relevant data.
- Works closely with the multidisciplinary team and provides support if needed.
- Communicates and provides information internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service to connecting groups.
- Interprets instructions and issues arising, and then implements actions according to administrative policies and procedures.
THE INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL SUCCEED
- Has completed a Business Administration Certification or equivalent.
- Prior proven experience in an administrative position.
- Good time management skills; selfstarter, adaptable, and flexible.
- Ability to deal proactively with change; creative and innovative.
- Knowledge of government legislations and relevant procedures regarding health care a definite asset.
- Computer literacy is required.
