The opportunity

As a Tech Lead at Wild Fork Canada, you will be responsible for leading the architecture and design of our software solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional and global architecture teams to define technical requirements, identify potential challenges, and design solutions that meet the needs of the business.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable, while also keeping up with the latest industry standards and best practices.


What you will do

  • Develop and maintain a technical solution and produce technical stories that aligns with business goals.
  • Lead the design and implementation of software solutions, ensuring they meet quality, performance, and scalability requirements.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define technical requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and best practices.
  • Ensure that software development follows industry standards and best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for their adoption.
  • Work extensively with a global team of architects on alignment
  • Coach and mentor developers

What you bring:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a minimum 2 years in a tech lead role
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns and principles
  • Experience designing and implementing largescale, distributed systems in ecommerce domain will be a plus.
  • Experience with omnichannel ecommerce systems such as commerce tools
  • Expert level proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java.
  • Deep understanding of domain driven design
  • Solid experience working with production apps built in Spring Framework
  • Experience working in Agile framework.
  • Experience working with Azure App Service, Service Bus, Microservice Architecture
  • Strong understanding of security, scalability, and maintainability considerations
  • Excellent communication, leadership skills and experience influencing other team members.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
