YOUR MISSION

Review, plan and process purchasing requisitions for products within your scope via our MRP system on SAP, always with cost improvement and quality control as the objective;
Issue purchase orders, carry out reminders and followups to ensure the availability of equipment according to the needs of end users;
Inform internal customers of the issues and propose optimal problemsolving solutions (supply, costs, delays, discontinuation);
Support internal teams with your expertise;
Carry out market analyses, search for new suppliers, advise the production and monitoring teams regarding têxtile materials;
Support internal customers in managing the relationship with the supplier.
Make requests for quotes;
Update SAP and MRP information, material and supplier sheet, lead time for better longterm supply planning;
Process invoicing relating to purchases made;
Occasionally travel by car to search for products at retailers in Montreal and surrounding areas.

YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE

Advanced technical or business training;
At least 3 years' experience in a similar position in the têxtile or fashion industry;
Mastery of SAP and MRP signals/tools;
Understanding of purchasing planning and inventory management tools and systems;
Ensure an excellent level of internal customer service;
Act as a true business partner and demonstrate your ability to exercise positive leadership and work as a team:
Monitor and improve supplier performance, costs and delivery, then establish and maintain good relationships with them;
Ability to negotiate independently with suppliers and with little supervision;
Ability to manage numerous tasks by establishing priorities;
Sense of organization and planning;
Autonomy and initiative in files;
Valid driver's license;
Great ease in communicating in French and English.
