Description

Responsibilities & Duties**- Work with mechanical/electrical engineering teams as well as manufacturing department to ensure on-time and on-budget product development

Provide guidance and leadership for smooth daytoday operations
Full cycle project management from project inception through production release
Review drawings against customer specifications for each project
Understand and communicate internal and contractual project obligations and constraints
Monitor and ensure all CAD production drawings confirm to approved project specifications
Prepare production schedule and allocation of manpower and resources to finish each project on time
Establish project budgets
Approve and manage bill of materials (BOM) with stakeholders
Monitor production against schedules, quality standards, and cost
Generate, maintain and modify manufacturing process documentation
Ensure materials and components are delivered on time for assembly Look for ways to improve the products being made and production procedures
University or college graduate, or equivalent, in Applied Physics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering
Strong knowledge and proficiency in the design and manufacturing of industrial machinery required, with bioreactors or fermenters experience strongly preferred
Comprehensive understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, geometric tolerances, dimensions, product certification, etc.
Detailoriented, accurate, and efficient problem solving and time management skills
Superior planning and organization skills

Experience

Hands on experience in an agile manufacturing and product development environment
Experience in full product development lifecycle, from concept and feasibility assessments through to production

Project Management: 3 years minimum (required)
