multidisciplinary pediatric clinic in Barrhaven, Ottawa. The thriving local community has

clinic is filled with natural light, has 7 private assessment/treatment rooms, a spacious reception area, and a welcoming staff room.
The most exciting part of our clinic is our 1000 sq. ft.'Super Special Fun Gym' which has lots of equipment and tools for treating kids including:
a climbing wall, swings, ropes, balls, mats, climbers, steps, toys, and more.
We are looking for an experienced (3+ years) Speech Language Pathologist in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists (CASLPO) of Ontario to join our team in a part time capacity.

Your Attributes:
- Registered to practice Speech Language Pathology by College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists (CASLPO) of Ontario
- Maintain appropriate liability insurance
- Passionate about health, wellness and empowering others to succeed
- Able to perform clinical assessments and create and implement treatment plans including ongoing evaluation and documentation
- A team player, willing to work collaboratively, both internally with our clinic team and externally with other healthcare providers, insurers and referral sources
- Understand the roles and scopes of other clinicians within and outside the clinic to appropriately refer clients as needed to ensure the best care possible
- Possess strong leadership skills, communication skills, business acumen and professionalism
- Possess excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
- Hardworking, focused, selfmotivated and accountable
- Minimum one evening and/or weekend shift
- Dedicated to professional development, focused on your career path and willing to make it a top priority
- Part
- Prepare and run small group classes and presentations
- Preferably have experience in pediatrics (previous employment, placement experience or other) or have taken additional continuing education in pediatrics
- Preferably at least 3 years of experience in speech language pathology with specialty working with pediatric population
- Provide content for informational purposes (ie: newsletters, social media, handouts, etc)
- Assist in community outreach programming
- Vulnerable Sector Check will be required upon hiring
