Description

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed issue for construction drawings;
Assist with the design of underground and overhead distribution infrastructure;
Prepare design packages for review and submissions;
Prepare issue for construction packages;
Coordinating with clients, coworkers, subcontractors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders;
Attend preconstruction meetings and conduct site field reviews;
Perform general duties as required such as printing/plotting, transmittal preparation, project tracking updates, submitting drawings to client/contractor; and
Provide technical and administrative support through all phases of the project.
Diploma or degree in drafting, engineering technology, or related field;
Previous drafting experience preferred;
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD);
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Attention to detail for accuracy in drawings;
Problemsolving abilities for proposing solutions;
Collaboration within multidisciplinary teams;
Efficient project deadline management; and
Familiarity with BC building codes and standards;
