Lecturer or Assistant Professor - Academic Clinician Behavioural Neurologist
This is a full-time clinical academic appointment with a minimum of 90% clinical service delivery, 5% scholarly activities and 5% administrative service.
The scope of clinical activities will focus primarily on Baycrest's novel Virtual Behavioural Medicine Program, which involves the virtual assessment and management of individuals with dementia and neuropsychiatric symptoms such as physical aggression, agitation and psychosis, as well the world class Sam and Ida Ross Memory Clinic.
Virtual Behavioural Medicine is a game changer in the assessment and management of neuropsychiatric symptoms in dementia and the successful candidate will play a major role in this innovative program.
The successful candidate must be eligible for a Full-Time Clinical Academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto.

Baycrest is located in Toronto, Ontario and is home to the newly created Austin Centre for Neurology and Behavioural Support.
It is fully-affiliated with the University of Toronto and plays a unique and important role in training and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows who will have the responsibility of caring for the increasing number of individuals with dementia and related cognitive and behavioural disorders.
Baycrest operates over 1,000 beds across a full continuum of senior health and residential care programs with 2,000 staff and 2,000 volunteers.
