Cellula is looking to add a Coop Student to its HSSE team to support its growing list of health and safety projects.

Cellula is an innovative engineering company that specializes in automated and tele-robotics systems; primarily for the offshore and subsea market space.

To that end, we encourage the same team members who helped design & build our solutions to assist the client in the field with installation, operational trials, and service.

As the Coop Student, you will be responsible for assisting the Health and Safety Manager with updating the Health and Safety Program.

This will include a gap analysis of the OHS Regulation, updating procedures, and other health and safety related tasks as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable of WCA and OHS Regulations
• Assist with the creation of a gap analysis of the Health and Safety Program
• Provide overall support to the HSSE Manager in the review process of the Health and Safety Manual
• Assist with reviewing, updating, and creating safety related documentation
• Provide support for other health and safety related projects and additional administrative duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

• Currently enrolled in a registered college diploma/advanceddiploma, postsecondary coop program in Health and Safety
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in all written and verbal communication
• A team player who is also able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to perform under stressful conditions
