Our Dishwashers work in all areas of the Summit Lodge Food Service keeping wares and equipment clean and organized.

As a key member of the kitchen, our Dishwashers are counted upon to ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food products to comply with health department regulation.

Duties may also include help with food preparation.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Washing dishes and maintain cleanliness of dish area
  • Support sustainability goals to reduce waste and energy consumption and encourage employee and guest engagement
  • Assisting with preparation of fresh food products
  • Organizing composting and recycling
  • Logging water temps of the dishwasher and maintain levels of cleaning solutions
  • Ensure that all equipment is in working order and well maintained
  • Handling and storing all food products properly including temperatures, rotation, and labeling
  • Assist in preparation of necessary food items, including baked goods, as directed by the Sous/Exec Chef and according to the Sea to Sky Gondola standards and recipes
  • Interacts with Gondola Guests in a positive and engaging manner when in contact with them
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Chef and other team members as required

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Strong communication skills
  • Mature, friendly, and wellgroomed
  • Ability to delegate and take direction
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Organized and detail oriented with a high attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Food Safe Certificate an asset
  • Criminal Record Check required
Staff Accommodation may be available, with shared and single rooms, in newly constructed houses and apartments. Please inquire about availability.
