Description
This is an onsite6-month contract with the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.
Hourly rate CAD 40.00. You must be available to work in Toronto, CA, and authorized to work without sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
- Reception
- Assign, monitor, and complete employee requests via the ticketing system and office Slack channel.
- Food & Beverage
- Support Food & Beverage vendors regarding daily breakfast and lunch service set up and take down.
- Office Management
- Oversee the Shipping and Receiving program by receiving and distributing mail and coordinating couriers and messengers for outgoing shipments.
- Manage inventory, order, and replenish stocks for stationery, shipping supplies, and more as and when required.
- Event Support
- Assist the UCAN East Workplace Team in setting up special events such as happy hours, popups, internal meetings, parties, and other events.
- Office Security/Safety
- Observe and report any securityrelated concerns impacting the Client brand, personnel, and assets.
- Assist Client Security with testing any life safety devices installed in the office.
- Gather basic information about incidents and communicate to the Security team.
- Execute distribution of access badges for new and current employees and support staff.
- Respond to and/or direct Security inquiries as appropriate.
- Validate access for all personnel entering the Client space.
- Be familiar with your office and the building's emergency response and evacuation procedures.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Previous reception, hospitality, or administrative support experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to elevate employee and visitor experience.
- Must be a team player, flexible, positive, and professional, especially when faced with a changing environment.
- Ability to multitask and be resourceful and proactive.
- Selfstarter who thrives in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience with Google Drive (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) is preferred.
- Being bilingual (English/French) is a bonus.
