POSITION:
JOB SUMMARY:
- Completion of a Masters Degree in Social Work (M.S.W) or equivalent required
- Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers required
- Membership in the Ontario Association of Social Workers preferred
- Two (23) years experience working with an interprofessional team in a health care setting preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Research experience /education an asset
- Student education/supervision an asset
- Knowledge of policies, legislation, program's and issues related to social welfare institutions and services
- Computer literacy preferred
- Knowledge of a second language an asset
- Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
